Calendars can be assigned to the project, tasks, and resources. 

For setting up the project properties, In the top menu bar of the Project management tool, Project -  Properties you can set the duration of hours and time defaults.

In the calendar tab which format do you want to set the calendar click on it and mention the work time set up individually
