We are integrated with Google when you use a google edition you would be using your google account (email, and password).
Google ask when creating your password using 8 characters or more. It can be any combination of letters, numbers, and symbols (ASCII characters).
You do not need a gmail to use Gantter Cloud. Gantter Cloud also doesn't have the requirements Google does when it comes to setting passwords.
