Auto-leveling not working though I spent all my time choosing Gantter for that capability

I get this error message when clicking on Auto-levelling even though the reason given is not true. Arifur is only assigned to subtasks. He is not assigned to any summary tasks. Do I need to delete my project and start fresh due to some bug or how can I make this work ?

Auto-leveling cannot run because resource "Arifur" is assigned to both summary task #0 and one of its subtasks #2. Remove one of these assignments.

Go to your View menu in your Top tool bar.

Check off (show root summary task) This will be the project title as task 0.

Only assign your resources to sub-task. A Parent task and sub-task can not have the same resource.
