Adding earlier tasks

Are you referring to a past date? This can be changed in the Project Properties. If you are referring to adding a new task row you can find this under actions in the top toolbar. If you are having issues with your project please email support at info@gantter.com

I need to add some tasks that the team realise are prior to what we thought would be the first task. I can't add anything earlier now than the first task
