I am an Industrial Contractor with a lot of different projects going on all at once...

I would like to set up individual projects and then have them all on the same calendar.

Or is it better to just open one BIG ongoing project?

I have no idea where to start...

you should email the support team for them to help you. They helped me plan my annual fundraisers. 

The calendar you are referring too is it google or ganttchart in gantter? also theres milestones if you have milestones in all projects you can select all the projects you want to view and open up visualizations and see the milestone calendar view graph. that way you don't have to put all projects on one file.
