The share button is not even available for me (it's dark and nothing happens when you click on share)

If you are using Gantter for Google Drive then you can share your projects from Google Drive: https://drive.google.com

You can also try clearing your browser's cache or use Chrome's incognito mode (press Ctrl+ Shift + N to bring up a new incognito window) and then try again from the Gantter editor.
