I work with international teams and depending where you are in the world, they read the DD/MM/YYYY differently! This causes confusion and takes longer for everyone to understand the plan.

These additional options will help clarify the dates they are seeing. e.g. 05 AUG 2018 rather than 08/05/2018 or 05/08/2018 which are the same  depending on where you are in the world!
